“ FRIENDS ” is a socio-spiritual movement focusing on human resources’ excellence across the country, especially the rural communities which are the back bone of our nation.

According to Sri Amma and Sri Bhagavan, Founders of ‘FRIENDS’ Movement and the embodiment of love, "Happiness is the index of development".

When man is intrinsically happy, the society that he creates naturally exuberates a sense of co-operation and sharing. When man is unhappy he creates an environment, which is detrimental to the well being of the community. This truth is now being perceived in many a family in the surroundings where FRIENDS ‘DEEKSHA’ workshops have been conducted.

The Friends Deeksha is also called Oneness Blessing.

Vision:
To create an empowered society, amongst the under-privileged and marginalized sections of India, where success, joy and love are a way of life.

Mission :
To reach out to the marginalized sections across the various states of India through a team of dedicated guides and volunteers and take the fruit of the Oneness Blessing to one and all.

To heal the lives of the under-privileged with the Oneness Blessing and to empower them to heal others through Oneness Blessing.

To achieve unity and acceptance within the family, within the community, within the nation and within the world.

To enable the flowering of rural individuals and communities while retaining their unique identities and nuances of existence.

FRIENDS movement does not propagate any particular belief, dharma, religion, faith or feelings. The aim is to put every individual in touch with the truth of his faith via the medium of a personal experience.

The core objectives of FRIENDS are: providing good health; practical education; bringing prosperity amongst  the common man; love in relationships; peace of mind; communion with the divine and the power to heal others. You could belong to any religion, class or creed. If you want to bring in good energies in your home and workplace, then here is the beginning.
